Mental Health Support during Pregnancy

The journey to parenthood can be filled with joy, but it can also present a range of emotional challenges—hormonal shifts, lifestyle changes, and stress can all take a toll. Seeking mental health support provides a safe space to process your feelings, a place to help manage feelings, and build resilience.

We are here to help you navigate this transformative time, ensuring you feel supported, empowered, and ready to embrace the journey ahead. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health—let us be a part of your support system.

Anxiety

During pregnancy, anxious thoughts can become a real problem. It can be hard to separate the 'mom worries' from anxious thoughts. Professionals can help.

Depression

Depression symptoms can come at any time, from the start of pregnancy to up to one year after birth. Feeling down more often than not or not being able to enjoy things you used to might mean that you want to talk to someone.

Trauma

We all want a stress-free pregnancy, but that's not the case for everyone. Complications during pregnancy or pregnancy loss scares can leave a mark that may not go away on its own.

Scary Thoughts / OCD

Sometimes our brains come up with really scary thoughts of the 'what if's that can happen during pregnancy and beyond. If those thoughts are causing problems, then treatments are available. If these thoughts are so distressing that you feel that you need to do something to prevent them from happening, then definitely talk to a trained professional.
